Course Contents/Objectives/Teaching Method/Intended Learning Outcome
この授業は、文化人類学の視点から成される歴史研究をめぐる諸問題について解説し、議論を深めることを目的とします。授業各回では、個別のトピックを設定し、文化人類学の視点・理論・方法から当該トピックに対してどのようなアプローチが可能なのか、そして同時に、どのような困難がそれにつきまとうのかについて論じてまいります。授業で扱う素材については、担当者がこれまで臨地調査で関わってきているオセアニア島嶼世界を中心に取り上げることにいたします。受講者には、歴史研究は眼前にある「いま」の世界を知るための一つの方法として在ることを理解し、そうした歴史研究の手法の一つとして文化人類学的思考法が在ることを意識し、そして、文化人類学的思考法を幾分なりとも身につけて実際の分析に与していくスタンスを身につけてもらうことがこの授業の目標です。
