授業は、基本的にリアルタイム・オンライン通信で行われます。
1990年代半ば以降、英語圏を中心に発展してきた「ポストフェミニズム」「ポピュラーフェミニズム」「ポピュラーミソジニー」などの新しいフェミニズムの潮流についてSarah Banet-Weiser“EMPOWERED:popular feminism and popular misogyny”を輪読しながら、各受講者による調査研究への応用可能性について検討する。
