授業科目の内容・目的・方法・到達目標
This class covers standard topics in macroeconomics with focus on short-run macroeconomic issues. The class consists of two big components. The one is the lecture series explaining the basic theoretical framework for understanding business-cycles and monetary and fiscal policies. The second is a series of presentation and discussion sessions. We will assign students short papers which are good examples of the applications of the theories to actual macroeconomic problems. All participating students must present papers and make discussions at the class. Details of the class procedures and evaluations will be announced at the first class.
