Course Description	This is a Japanese language course for non-JLP students. These courses are designed for students at the first half of the intermediate levels to acquire comprehensive Japanese language proficiency. The purpose of these courses is to increase their knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and kanji and to improve their reading and writing ability through close-reading of textbooks precisely. In addition, students will develop speech techniques necessary to participate in discussions and to explain content that they have understood.

・初級(しょきゅう)の学習(がくしゅう)が終わった学生を対象(たいしょう)とする。中級(ちゅうきゅう）前半(ぜんはん)の日本語「読む、書く、聞く、話す」を総合的(そうごうてき)に学習(がくしゅう)する。

・テキストの精読(せいどく)を通して、文法・語彙(ごい)・漢字の知識(ちしき)を増(ふ)やし、読解(どっかい)能力(のうりょく)と文章(ぶんしょう)・表現(ひょうげん)能力(のうりょく)を高める。また、理解(りかい)した内容（ないよう）について説明したり議論(ぎろん)したりするための口頭(こうとう)表現(ひょうげん)能力(のうりょく)も高める。
