Course Contents/Objectives/Teaching Method/Intended Learning Outcome

In this course we will study the determination of macroeconomic variables; such as output, employment, and the interest rate using intermediate level of macroeconomic models. We will also learn fiscal and monetary policy and how those affect macroeconomic variables. The emphasis of the course will be on constructing models to think about economic issues. First we review Keynesian type macroeconomic model. Then we study neoclassical models.
