Course Summary

In our seminar, we conduct research on population and social dynamics, focusing primarily on international migration and multicultural societies. The ultimate goal is to produce sociology and/or demography papers grounded in empirical data, whether qualitative or quantitative. In this Seminar B Type (2) , participants will engage in group readings of various papers and books on a range of topics relating to sociology and demography. Participants may also be asked to present their own research. We are considering academic articles from journals such as the following:

*In principle, students are expected to enroll in both B1 and B2 concurrently. However, enrollment in only B1 or B2 may be allowed under special circumstances, such as unit caps.
