Course Summary

In our seminar, we conduct research on population and social dynamics, focusing primarily on international migration and multicultural societies. The ultimate goal is to produce sociology and/or demography papers grounded in empirical data, whether qualitative or quantitative.

In this Seminar B Type (1) (Population and Social Dynamics), the aim is to acquire the skills necessary for writing empirical papers and to engage in learning activities that support this goal.

Specifically, there is a possibility of conducting group readings of the following books:

Salganik, M.J., 2018, Bit by Bit: Social Research in the Digital Age, Princeton: Princeton University Press.
