General Objectives of the Course
疫学は、健康状態や事象を記述し分布を明らかにした上で、その決定要因やコントロール方策について検討し、実社会への適用を図るという一連のプロセスを扱う学問であり、健康を科学的に扱う際の共通基盤となる。疫学研究における観察研究および介入研究はヒトを対象とした曝露と影響の因果関係を判定するために重要な手法であり、これまで健康に関わる数多くの知見が得られて来ている。本科目は、質の高い科学的エビデンスを読み解き、また自ら作り出すための基礎力を磨き、健康を扱うために必要な論理的思考を身につけることを目的とする。公衆衛生学位取得希望者の必修科目である。
なお、この科目の授業は対面・オンラインどちらでも参加可能なハイブリッド形式で行う予定ですが、最終試験は対面にて実施します。
