General Objectives of the Course

This is an advanced course of biostatistics, which is targeted to the students who will engage in quantitative research of health and medical science after having completed Introductory Biostatistics 1 and 2. To aim of this course is that you can select the adequate statistics technique that you learned in basic biostatistics 1 and 2 according to sample data and interpret the results of your analyses by yourself. The lecture about the associated topic will be provided as omnibus style as appropriate.

Remarks

○関連の深い基礎疫学(健康マネジメント研究科)もしくは臨床疫学(医学研究科)を履修しておくことを必須であること、また基礎生物統計学1、2の修了もしくはこれらに相当する知識を有する事を前提とした講義であることから、前提知識がない場合には受講を勧めない。これらの前提知識がないにもかかわらず受講希望する場合、個別のフォロー・配慮は行えない点を了解した上で受講すること。
○何らかの統計ソフト(R、JMP、SPSS、SASなど)の基本的な動作について習得している事が必須である。
○講義の際は上記の統計ソフトが動作するパソコンを持参する事。
