Course Contents/Objectives/Teaching Method/Intended Learning Outcome

本授業は，近現代の日本政治を対象として，政治学的思考や政治学的知見を身につけることで，政治現象に対する洞察力や論理的思考力を涵養することを目的とする．
日本政治はメディア等を通して得られる身近な題材であるため，「評論家」的姿勢から，誰もが持論を展開しやすく，その中には，単なる印象論や根拠を欠いた規範論も散見され，それらは我々の日本政治理解にも影響を与えている．
本授業では，日本政治研究の作法や方法論，手法を理解した上で，政治学の知見やデータ，資料を踏まえて，日本政治に関する一般的な「常識」を批判的に考察し，事実の確認のみならず，政治現象の発生に関する因果的な検討も重視する．具体的には，憲法や議会制度，内閣制度など，政治のあり方を大きく規定する政治制度を深く理解し，その上で，各アクターがその制度的制約下でどのように行動し，その結果，いかなる政治的帰結がもたらされるのかについて，学説を踏まえて検討する．
