授業科目の内容・目的・方法・到達目標
The program aims to help enhance participants's practical analytical skill to understand economic phenomenons, through analysing evolutions of Japanese economy over the past decades and their interactions wth economic policies, including monetary, fiscal, financial regulation policies, as well as trade and industrial policy.
The discussion would encompass: the high-speed growth period of 60s; the hyper-inflation age of 70s; financial bubble days of 80s; the financial crises of 90s and 2000s, as well as the successive deflationary decades extended through the launch of the new policies - Abenomics and beyond.
The course will benefit from the lecturer's years of experience actuallly working as a policy analyst in major international organizations (WTO, IMF, WBG) and Japanese government agencies (MOF, FSA, METI).
