「現代」芸術論と銘打たれていますが、中心的に扱うことになるのは20世紀前半になります。
現代において芸術がどのような形で成立するようになっているかを、広く文化的・思想的文脈とつきあわせつつ検討します。したがって、いわゆる「芸術」に関する話から、それなりに必要な脱線をすることが少なくありません。あらかじめご了承ください。
授業の目標は、受講者のかたが、いわゆる芸術作品のみならず日常的・非日常的に接する物事全般に対して、芸術と切り離せない何らかの見かたをできるようになることです。
そのつど具体的な事例を取りあげながら、非網羅的・非体系的に考えていきたいと思います。
