Course Contents/Objectives/Teaching Method/Intended Learning Outcome
Urban economics is a field of applied microeconomics that covers a wide range of areas, such as housing location, population movement, and urban infrastructure. This course aims to deepen participants' understanding of urban economics by reading an introductory-level textbook on urban economics. At the same time, participants will learn how to use GIS and statistical software. The goal of this lecture for students is to understand what topics are covered in urban economics and to be able to use data to perform simple analyses related to urban economics.
