Course Summary

We discuss international relations and students research their own topics.

Course Description/Objectives/Teaching Method/Intended Learning Outcome

It has already been a long time since the expansion and deepening of globalization was first noted. The increased movement of people, goods, money, and information across national borders has led to an increase and transformation of "international problems" that need to be solved. Based on the classical theories of international politics, it is necessary to identify how the changes occurring in the world affect current problems and to search for solutions. Students are expected to set their own themes and conduct research on their own time as well as during the seminar. The seminar during regular class time will be used to present the in-progress and final results of their respective research. Each person's theme may be broadly defined as long as it relates to keywords such as "global society," "international politics," "international relations," and "international culture.

At the end of the semester, we hold a training camp and ask students to submit a paper as their final product. If this is the final semester before graduation, write a graduation thesis.
